Hello ,
We've noticed that after subscribing, folks are not coming back to the site regularly, or participating in chat (we have over 400 subscriber profiles, but around 225 in chat).
It's like people are excited to go to a party but they come in and don't talk to anyone, then leave because nobody talks to them.
We've been busy recruiting volunteers to encourage participation on chat.swlt.ca, and simplified the chat system -- it's now a single signon to access subscriber articles, search through profiles and chat with the women who seem interesting.
We're working on improvements to the visuals and organization of the website and developing how-to pages and video for our process (searching through profiles and using chat).
Inspired by the journaling trend, we've developed some new content to help you make a habit of your SWLT journey to shared housing.
We have a brochure that explains how you can participate fully in finding and getting to know the other women who want to share housing. You can download any of these to print from the new SWLT.ca resources page. |
