Hi Everyone,

It’s natural to have some concerns or questions about sharing a home with others.  After all, living with someone is always more challenging than just being friends.

At SWLT, we aim to provide enough information and suggestions to alleviate most worries and concerns.   

Perhaps, you are wondering if you will be able to keep your furniture.  You might have concerns about more than one cook in the kitchen or you could be worried about how the rental payments are shared.

There's lots of questions when one is considering making such a big change in one's living arrangement.

Exciting Breaking News:
Our new chat platform is up and running .... 

Due to popular demand, we worked hard to find and configure a new chat system that should be easier and can be used more seamlessly with our website and the profile search.

Discourse uses your website login information so you don't need to join a separate site. 

Once you login to swlt.ca, you simply click on the "Hop over to chat" button which is located on the right side of the page. Then, you are automatically inside Discourse and able to use it!

So, please have a look at the Discourse platform and get familiar with how it is set up.  If you have questions, there is a Technical Support channel where you can send a message.


New Subscribers often ask....

"I'm here. What do I need to do now?" 

Our process is quite simple but there are things you need to do at each step.

Step 1: Create a profile
Step 2: Read profiles and look for compatibility
Step 3: Contact those most compatible
Step 4: Meet-ups
Step 5: Co-create a Homemate Agreement
Step 6: Find a suitable place to live

Have you been getting our emails?
We send emails to inform you about changes, instructions, properties for rent, success stories etc.  If you have not been getting our emails, check your spam or other folders because sometimes email providers don't place website email in your inbox.

If you get an email from us that does not interest you, please DO NOT unsubscribe.....our system will remove your profile from view.  Just delete the email you aren't interested in and keep or respond to the emails you are interested in.
