What will it take for you to create a homemate group and find a great place to live together in 2026?

It will take some energy, some time and, most importantly, your resolve to get it done.

First of all, be sure to contact us if you get stuck or have any kind of problem.  There are no stupid questions.

Here are some tips to help you make 2026 the year you started living together:

1.  Read our articles for subscribers.

2.  Search for those who are the best fit for you and keep a list of usernames and details.  Check the profiles regularly for new subscribers.

3.  Spend some time in the chat program every day or at least twice a week. Explore, read the comments, send messages and answer messages, post new content, ask questions etc. Others get to know you a little better and some may contact you simply because they like what you say or how you think about things.

4. Contact those you are most interested in via the chat program. Send them a message, start up a conversation, arrange to meet, invite them to do something with you, talk to them about what you are hoping to find and what you are looking forward to once you are living with others.

5.  Be persistent. Try not to get discouraged. Contact Pat Dunn (pat@swlt.ca) to chat about how things are going.

                     Happy Homemate Hunting!!

Well, that's all for January 2026
