To become a subscriber, you must be:
- a woman or you identify as a woman; and
- at least 55 years old; and
- single; and
- a renter who is looking for someone to share a space;
or a homeowner with space to rent out
or a leaseholder with space to rent out; and - willing to participate in the SWLT community.
Most of our subscribers are currently living alone in a rental. However, some own their homes or have a large enough rental unit to share. We have specific information and conditions for homeowners and leaseholders, so if you are searching for homemates to share your current home, please follow those links.
Homeowners, if you are looking for someone to live with you in your home, please read this before joining.
Leaseholders, if you have extra space and want someone to live with you, please read this before joining.
Senior Women Living Together does not warrant the fitness or character of any of its members, or the suitability of any space of members who also happen to be homeowners. Users of the Senior Women Living Together website shall be entirely responsible for their respective choices of people with whom to share a home, whether rented or owned. We do not promise that members will find compatible homemates through our process.
Our process includes:
- supportive, informative articles explaining everything
- resources and tools that make homemate finding easier (free account required)
- full, unlimited access to our private chat system (free account required)
- support from our volunteer team to help you with technical issues, conflict resolution and discussing shared living experiences, using chat system or contact form.
After you complete your profile, you will be logged in automatically to the site, and will receive an email with a link to set a password.
